Do you need your restaurant menu analyzed?

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) finalized nutrition labeling regulations for restaurants with 20+ outlets in December 2014. Restaurants have until December 2016 to comply by including calories on their menu or menu boards and providing nutrition information for the 11 required nutrients in their print or online materials. As customers become accustomed to having this information available, consumers will want ALL restaurants to provide it. Meet your customer requests with cost effective analysis of your menu items.

  • Nutrition and Diet Services provides restaurants with nutrient analysis of menu items that conform to FDA regulations and are accurate and reliable. We maintain all original analyses making it easy and cost effective for you to revise your menu items in the future.

  • At NDS our proprietary Nutrition Information Program (NIP) includes nutrient data for standard foods using the latest version of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. Additionally, we will add data for specific foods you use in your menu items so the analysis report is accurate and customized to your preparation.

  • Do you want to identify gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian menu items for your customers? We can review your product ingredient lists and menu items and identify these for you.
